Job Title: Technical Recruiter Location: Germantown, MD Position Type: Full-Time Annotated Position Description Summary/Objective Our people are our most important resource. Position Description Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations. Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent. Continuously partner with recruiting team and senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies. Stay active with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions. Work and form relationships with internal management teams to better understand their hiring needs and job specifications. Develop and release job postings on platforms, such as social media and job boards. Screen resumes and prospects; qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout recruiting life cycle. Maintain a database of candidate records, including qualified active and passive prospects from which to pull as new positions arise. Perform other HR-related tasks and assist with HR-related projects as needed. Required Skills Tactful and thorough understanding of confidentiality requirements. Exceptional communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills. Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet searching. Understanding of employment laws covering the recruitment life cycle. Proficiency with job boards, and HR software, databases and management systems. Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc.). Desire to grow professionally with networking and ongoing training opportunities. Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field. 3-5 years of progressive recruiting and/or human resource experience. Defense industry work experience, e.g., experience working at a DOE or DoD affiliated company a plus. About TechSource, Inc.
