The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) invites applications from both civilians and military applicants for the Metro Transit Police Officer position.
Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license issued from the jurisdiction of residence. Must be able to obtain and maintain police certification in the District of Columbia, the state of Maryland and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Lateral transfers will be considered for candidates with current military occupational skills and/or service occupational codes (SOC) listed below or have similar documented training/designations.
