The Rock Springs Police Department is hiring for Patrol Officer I and Patrol Officer II positions.   We are located in southwest Wyoming and we serve a community of approximately 23,000.   The RSPD is an agency of 47 sworn officers and we offer a vast variety of experience.   Our Patrol Officers have the ability to investigate cases from start to finish.   They are also able to rotate into different positions such as the K-9 Unit, School Resource Officer, Detective and SWAT Team.   Starting wage is $31.21 to $38.37 per hour, depending on experience.   We pay for your POST certification and we pay your full wage while you become POST certified.   All equipment is provided by the Rock Springs Police Department.
